Helsinki &
Tallinn
Add two more
capitals to your trip - a weekend in Helsinki and a
helicopter to the medieval capital of Estonia.

Golf in the Kingdom, of Scandinavia |
 |
This party of
the world evokes envy, for sure, in its stereotypes:
inspired pastoral landscapes, classy and sophisticated
tastes, and an impossibly handsome citizenry. We can't help
much with the last point, but a week with us will give you
plenty of the first two.
Arriving in Copenhagen, we depart the following morning on a
private boat across the 'Oresund' to the fragile, sandy
isthmus of Falsterbo Golf Club, a brilliant linksland
consistently heralded as Sweden's best golf. How else to
finish the night but at Skanör Gästgifvaregård, enjoying the
chef's tasting menu?
Another day in Falsterbo includes two more rounds of golf,
and a lunch trip to a fish smokehouse. We'll drive you to
play Barseback, home of the Swedish Masters, and to Bastad
on the Swedish Riviera, where we'll pick potatoes for making
our own vodka. Following up with rounds at Torekov, Halmstad,
and the Hills in Goteburg, we'll fly into Stockholm for a
final hurrah, with a historic night at the Grand Hotel in
Stockholm and a round at Bro Hof Slott Golf Club, new host
of the Scandinavian Masters beginning in 2010.
48-hour add-ons to Helsinki or Tallinn are available, if
you're not yet ready to concede to the ordinary. |
